We put washers on the other side of the "rails" then pop rivet everything together. Of the people who bought these from us (We also do this to all the RCM sluices as well as California Sluice Box sluices. ) haven't reported any problems.

Your going the extra mile. Those bars make things so easy.

Those bars make all the difference in the world. They need abrasive lock washers though. The water vibration will loosen them in 2-3 days.
