Lloyd, I have been looking into them. My co op does not have a buy back program, because there a private corp. And in ohio they don't offer that. I use 501 kwh a month so I think I will be starting with 200watt panels on top of my garage, run the converstion kits to a braker and then feed it to the house. Still working out the details. My main reason . I want to start a aquaiponic system of grid in garage, and 2 get off grid on my home. I hate paying 200. a month elect bills.
Joe thisis not yet completed prodject under way still i buil thte stanfds my self own desighn , got panels from ca , they are i beleav htey said 230watts each about 2.6 kw in all they run about 34 volts eachhavnt did th amps yet tested onem but as for now i only have 2 micro grid tie enverters i ws planingon useing 4 micro grid ties along wihtht eout back system setup so i can run battery back up and grid tie combanation wiht hte out back as it hase a setup to run on grid tie every day use and battery back up wichkiks in if power fials from the grid it i belav has a 12 milasecond delay ifpower outa acures and i loose no powe r to the house n that case in all the whoel setup would be about 3500 doingit my own isntall.mayeb some where around 4 grand by th timei get it all in stalled andput up and ruing but il have free electric power for severuil years and maybe evan make a litle off whati dont use but normal electric power bills is around 25 350 a munth so itl pay back prety fastand whenim ruign battery chargers and weldrs billis hihger soi felt it wasgod thing to do and i still have my 1.5 kw wind turbin i aim to ut up one day the field you see just below thisarea is also planed for mor panels later on if and as i can install them i hoe to have atleast 30. kw one dayi beleav my electric comapny said i could have 100kw wiht them as htey are a coop andnot other type power company and i thought i woudl only be alowed 30 kw wind and sollar butthey did say i can have as much as 100kw so wheni getht contract il be putining 100 kw hehe haw! besides they need a power sub station around here any wasy haha!

Lloyed, are those 300 watt panels? Also, is it an off grind system? what kind of conversation kit did you use as well as battery's
