  • Looks promising, Best of luck.

  • @ crazy Crusher I actually just use 2 monitors on one computer and it works great. Plus I can copy and paste from one application into the other for quick references :)

  • Yeah, I use both to verify one and the other.  Also the LR2000 is good for checking on borders and boundaries of what is available for claims and what is not.  I normally run them both at the same time on two 'puters.

  • @ crazyCrusher I have onlinegoldmaps google overlay for google earth that does the same thing. It is only accurate to a point. I have found some of the claims on there have recently been abandoned, re-claimed or in some cases a new claim was just filed in a spot there weren't any. That's why I use the LR2000 it is the actual BLM website that is kept completely current with all claim filings and statuses along with Township Range and Section numbers.

  • @ Diggin Fool, you might like MineCache, yeah, there is a small annual fee but it is an overlay of GoogleEarth.  What I like about it is you can click on and off of either current claims or just the closed abandoned claims.  It is handy to see which claims are vacant!  Head out, do some digging and if you find color, just file right over the top of the old one!  Clicking the links will tell you who owned it, when the discovery was made and when it was abandoned, and in some cases what the values were.

  • I use google Earth, Google Maps, Cadastral, and LR2000 to do all of the research. LR2000 gives every claim and it's status.

  • ill get out there in oct..right now its hitting 110 in the day to hot..but ill keep ya posted

  • be carfull both of those programs are not worth shit to weather something is open or not
