LOL I do the same thing with the gold in a pan. If it looks like there is 1/2oz, I guess 1/4oz. It generally turns out to be about 1/8oz.
This one I found last year out in the So Cal desert using a ml 5000, its just under 3oz.
Outstanding specimen. I would guess around 1.5oz. Hope you get a bucket full of em.
