I have a couple of steel pans and they are very handy. Ya can't roast sulfides in a plastic pan! LOL Besides the old-timers will tell ya that the rust is good as it can help keep the ultra fine stuff.
All kidding aside old gold pans have my interest. Dunno there is just something cool about them. The ones they use in South America that are like a wok are pretty neat too.

I've used mine on an electric hotplate, a propane stove as well as an open campfire. They are pretty durable.
And to APerfectCure, that's fantastic that you got that much!
Thanks Fellas I'm Glad every one likes it. I never though to use it as a roaster you think it will hold up ? Right now its Holding Some Pebbles. )
