I have been using the drop riffle technology for a couple of years now for clean-ups and it really catches the fine Indiana gold. In the past I was using the bucket sluice concentrator from calsuicebox.com which is a smaller version of this without hopper box.
I've always used a conventional sluice with miners moss and riffles but my new mini high banker is all ABS plastic and has drop riffles. The clean out time is like thirty seconds. You just tilt it to the side and wash it down into a pan. Great for sampling.
I only been doing it about 3 years but what I find is , where you dig and how hard you work are far more important than the particular brand or kind of equipment you use.
so do i why i suggested what i did this is just 1 of my banker designs like i said i been at prospecting and mining for 49 years now and have done almost all types of mining and prospecting i am here to help anyone wit what they want to know i still learn something all the time i dont beleive you or me know or kave all the answers to any and all things

I know 3M miners moss is actually called 3M nomax and was actually designed for rugs you wipe your feet on in public buildings and such.
I think most of that mat material is just conveyor belt stock you can probably buy it at Grainger.
