Sorry to see you having trouble. Did he have any equipment. Have you noticed any new diggings. I know your out there so it does seem odd he is just walking around in the desert. Time for some recon.
If it were me, I would be courteous, but carry a big gun. If he shows up again, let him walk through your claim, then follow him to his vehicle and get his license number, and call the sheriff's office and let them know that he is sneaking around.
Thanks fellas I've seen this person stocking me before this is the first time we've spoke it would have been very easly if he went around but just had to confront me I have a stocker not sure what to do how long do I have to let him hang out be hind my back now I have to tie up my Dogs in the Wild can't really shoot him not sure what to do.
Only place around here, that you need to keep your dog on a leash, is parks in town, and established camp grounds. As far as my claims go- no way. If you don't want to put up with my dogs, stay out.
As I understand it. This from Arizona BLM. All pets must be leashed. Any place where public is allowed your pet should be leashed.
Now with that said, we work several claims in Az. and Our pets we keep on a leash if there is others around. We have Chihuahua's and do not want to have them inured. Several of my friends will allow theirs to run but they are very well trained.
If you have dogs that are aggressive, I would keep them leashed. With the sensitive nature of prospecting the last thing any of us need to do is upset the apple cart.
What is the Law on Prospecting with your Dog on a Privet Claim on blm land do they have to be on a leash ?Some ass Heard me working and Snaked his way in Behind me hiding in the Rock and My Dogs almost Bit his ass he Climbed a Rock said he will through a Rock I told Him that would Not Be a Good Idea, then he Started calling the cops and animal contorl I told him to Come on Down I had Water he said no asked me to move so he could get by not to start shit I Climbed the hill and let him pass walked right through My Work

Find the high ground and just watch. You will catch him and find his vehicle. Reverse stalk

It also keeps confrontations to a minimum.
