  I would agree. That looks like a good one for the hand dredge. It doesn't look like the sediment has built up too badly in it yet. It would be interesting to see if you get something out of it. I find that there are some of these that are worth digging in. Especially if you can get to the bottom of the riffle. Good luck with it.

  it was not rusted that I saw, Im going back with the dredge and gold-n-sands there was lots of slate in that creek looks like a good place the man that owns the land said there was gold there!!!

  if the water dryes up all the way I have used a shop vac on the dirt worked well on a hot day.

  Any luck with the culvert?  It seems every one I have gotten into, the bottom has been rusted completely out.
