I have learned along time ago to check and recheck my small stuff before getting rid of it. No matter how small or how big it is it all adds up. And besides I have fun doing it to me thats means alot.
I always run a while and rinse. even the A52. This brings in a lot of heavy gravel people normally get rid of. when I screen it and remove any gold chunks, then it goes into the cast mortar and gets powdered. I keep dumping the powder into a pan till i have a good bit and add only magnetic black sand and pan it. Then pull the black off in thin strings slowly with the magnet at a distance. Sometimes I get as much or more extra fine as was in the sluice. Sometimes i just make a lot of sand lol. The MD20 helps on what to crush. The heavies stay behind for a reason.
