  Back in the 1980s I used a 3" surface Keene there. Found some good gold. There are a lot of tailings on the right side of the river there. There is a fee for day use of $10.00 and there is a fee for camping I think is $25

  No I have not prospected there but I have seen some nice gold come out of that area. If I was going to go to a public place to prospect that would probably be where I would go.

  why yes it the bridge over the American River at mineral bar. You ever prospect there? thinking about doing some camping there.

  That looks like a bridge we saw over the Kootenai River in Montana. Where was it taken?
