i'll make up a list of parts and basic instructions for ya Chris and add em to the DIY page... will also take a cpl pics of it partially dismantled and post em for ya...
Casey, to be honest I don't know what check valve I'm using (haven't bought it yet lol)... it's just one from the plumbing section of Home Hardware meant for use in PVC pipes... will make sure it's visable in the pics mentioned above posted...
will keep what ya said in mind though about the flapper valve issue and see what I can find
Wolfie - I am just curious. What kind of check valve are you using?
I used a flap valve for mine, it worked but it wouldn't close fast enough so I had some wasted pull on the stroke waiting for enough pressure to build to close the flap. The flap valve needed a spring to assist with closing and I couldn't find one with a spring. I was just curious what you might be using.

on the other hand I do need to find a new hose for my shop vac LOL
