wow they look like diamonds :-) One of the best methods of determining what kind of mineral you have is by using the Mohs' scale of hardness . You can buy a test kit on Amazon for a few bucks or use common household items. Everyone knows that diamonds are one of the hardest materials made. See if your chips will scratch other things according to this scale that uses common household items.
Found these neat stones in my bag of DirtHogg paydirt. In the house under flouresent light they are blue and outside in the sun they are green. Any ideas what they are? I dont know the first thing about rock and gem ID..just gold lol.
