Thanks Richard, This is the High Desert and with little to no Rain even the Home Steaders in Homestead Valley Didn't stay long, lol now they pump the water out of the ground and sell it to us all then call it a water district. the Aquafer is at 350 ft. There is Gold here I've seen Nuggets that came out of Rattlesnake Canyon but you have to file a Claim to work it, it's not a Creek were anyone can go, and it is not easy at all, 1st got to find the Rock, then Crushes it, from here you can go Several different ways the best I've found is Chlorine. although I'm trying out My Shaker Table, now to Find an Old Sampson Jaw Crusher :) Dennis
Worth checking out, somebody thought there was something there. Doesn't look like they stayed there long though. Maybe didn't pay very well, OR, they didn't find a good spot. Looks real dry and maybe they couldn't find water. Good Luck. Dickb
