Beach Find- 1943 Jefferson War Nickel Obverse

Went for an Tuesday afternoon beach hunt during a -0.59’ low tide. I think I did alright today, got unexpected silver coin. I dug a lot of trash and was working a spot and had a mid tone just like a nickel. Pull the target out of the hole and it was a nickel, placed it into my pouch not knowing it was a war nickel. I examine the coin at home and got a date off of it, 1943 Uknown mint and it’s in rough shape. Looks like a cleaning job for Nelson Neo Rosario and his Ugly Box. Found a 1957 Wheat Cent.I also had a large coin spill where If I wasn’t paying attention I would have walked right over it. The EMI was horrendous in this once spot on the beach to the point that I had to turn sensitivity down to 10-15 range just to quiet the machine a bit, which means that I might miss the deeper targets. So I opened the sensitivity up and was running it hot @ 25 with that I picked out $1.00 in dimes. It looked like someone dumped half a roll of dimes everywhere, 10 holes spread out in a 25’ radius.1943 Jefferson 35% Silver Nickel (War Nickel)1957 Wheat CentClad $3.50$2.25 in Quarters$1.80 in Dimes$0.10 in Nickels$0.35 in CentsDog tag w/persons name & DOB etched in.2 earringsmexican peso
