Found this small flake while panning some classified dirt/gravel. May be small, but it's a start!! My first VERIFIED find!! Sorry for the blurriness...my cell phone doesn't work all that great.

Nice Preston now your up and running You will be amazed at how bad one little fflake can fuel the Prospecting fever I have no doubt that that flake will soon have much company COGRATS you now have found more gold than Maurice Laughing Here !
Ken...true, very true!! I'm very pleased that I finally found something that I didn't need a magnifying glass to see in the pan. LOL!! About 100 more and I may be able to afford a cup of coffee. Still happy with it none the less.
Spur...Thanks for the info. I will definitely keep that on my wish list. The wife wasn't too interested until we went to the GPAA claim on Sunday and she saw some actual results. Now maybe she'll loosen the purse strings a bit so I can get some new toys.

Nice find :) I use a loop that I rubberband to my cellphone works good.
gold is gold no matter how big or how small its always nice to see what ppl find
