I've been thinking of adding a CobraCrusher to my list of gadgets, but I need an extra $500 or so, with the angle grinder and so forth. There's someone selling a knockoff CobraCrusher, so beware! I already have a Falcon MD20, and that has been fun to have, but its use is limited. It "sings" off when up against my two piece of gold ore, though! -- Ron
Yes Ronald, first in matrix NH gold I have found... am torn to keep in current state or crush and pan to see total amount of gold inside. Love to see some pictures of your samples and compare notes.

I like to cut pieces like that in half with a thin, lapidary blade to see what might show up.
Crushing and panning can be fun, but usually doesn't yield much color from one, small rock.
