Hay everyone. I wanted to share this. I got a card in the mail today from Dusty. In the card was a wooden nickel that Dusty said his dad handed down to him as a good luck piece and Dusty wanted me to have it. I am honored to have it Dusty and will enjoy the good luck while I am out prospecting thanks to you!
HAHA seeing this kind of excitement is all I need Dustin you are an amazing young man. But something I forgot about. You need to season those pans. I am not sure if I did it right or not but I used a green scotch brite pad and scuffed the inside of the pans with water and dish soap. I did this several times to my pans. I tried to pan before seasoning them and the water would just repell off the pan. The more you scuff the pan it breaks the molding oils and helps the gold attach to the pan. You need to do this to both pans. Hopefully someone on here will chim in and give some better advice.
I did get something in the mail today!!! Thank you Maurice! I got a green pan and a black pan,eye dropper and a snuffer,2 vials and a bag of paydirt with lots of gold in it,I can even see the gold thru the bag. This is the best thing I have ever gotten in my whole life!!! Thank you ,Thank you,Thank you Maurice!! I will never ever forget this gift or you. I will send you something back tomorrow. Now I can really get to work reading them creeks and panning for gold. No snow is going to stop me. Thank you Maurice,I'm so happy!
