Ken, I think I put a short vid up YouTube for blog on michgpaa.com. Wen ya see the water coming from the spraybars, you'll see why I'm getting a new pump. I'll try to post after walking my dog here.
madness is your material dropping strieght through your griz onto the punch plate if so post some pic s of the header box only looking down in to the sluice boxfrount n back view
Ahmed, it looks like 3/8's expanded metal with miner's carpet underneath. The punch plate is 1/8 in thats about 10 inches long. I attempted to run it with a 1 inch pump just to see if it would perform with any kind of success. That was a fail. I'll be stepping up to atleast a 2 inch pump that can move at least 150 gpm so I can get the proper volume of water going thru the sluice so it dont lock up. It a solid unit though. I'm quite excited to use it this year.

Thanks for the detailed info about the setup.
When you get the chance to use it, please post any pics of it in action ! I hope it works great for your cause.

What the size of the expanded? and what type of matting do you have on that Highbanker ?
I see there is a piece of punch plate at the upper side of the sluice.
