1 thing you can always push more then you can pull the jet needs to be closer to the water more so in the water not above the water line in with the nozzle its always in the water so its sucking as well as pushing the material to the banker if the jet was in the water it would not have to fight to get and maintain the water flow both the nozzle and power jet are good designs and do not reduce the presure if they are both in the water the lift is killing the jet
