Yes, I've been in quite a few areas of Kern County (& others). We loved the country - mountains & desert - but Hated kalifornia. Don't know if you did, but I worked for the state - makes the dislike of them stronger. Most any state is better except NY, & Oregon is trying to become like kalifornia. How long have you been on here, or prospecting? Pleasure to get to know you also. I haven't been on here much the past 2 years, lots of new people to me.
