    WOW! Thanks everybody. My husband and I prospect in the gold fields of Eastern Oregon and Northern California. We got the fever a few years back when an acquaintance invited us along on one of his misadventures along the Burnt River in eastern Oregon. That first year was an amazing learning experience and we met some of the nicest people. Even managed to find about 5 specks of gold ha! It wasn't enough to buy coffee for the return trip home but the adventures and awesome time spent there made us want more. Now we just can't get enough of the great outdoors and the amazing history behind it all, not to mention the solid friendships we've formed through this little hobby known as prospecting!
