  No I have not tried yet. I was told that the Muskegon river up near the dam is good area. I just have a small sluice, hoping to try it out up there. I found a small creek I would like to try too, just kon't know what all the rules are.

  Thanks for the welcome. I just started learning about gold last year, didn't know so many people were interested. I would have never thought so many Michiganders. Maybe we'll be digging together this summer. Do you do any panning, river sluice around this area?
