Dundee do you checkout old gold mine sites or are you trying to find your own patch. Unfortunately there is no gold close to Brisbane so ive decided i will have to travel. I have been checking out an area west of Bowen. Most mines find veins but that sounds like alot of work. There are many sites in this area plus reports of mining companys finding nuggets. Is this the type of research you do.
I have been on annual leave with hopes of hunting. But good plans generally fail. My 4x4 had a cracked piston and i only got it back today but with the new rings i have to be gentle with it for awhile.
Dundee what do you do for a living? I'm a firefighter. I just turned 48 married with 3 kids. My youngest is 14.
My wife is not interested in the hunt but in a nice I'm happy with that. You know "When are we going home/Where is a toilet/We are not staying here." Thing i do not have to worry about. Haha
Do you use a GPS? I bought one and when i went hunting with my oldest son he pulled out his Iphone and the Iphone GPS blow me away. I just bought a Iphone on ebay it hasen't arrived yet.
Buying a Iphone is a big step for me as i have never owned a mobile. But as the wife says if i fall or get lost or there is an emergency it will be handy.
Dundee i grew up in Townsville. I went to Central State State school.
I lived in Walker St behind the Court house next to the watchhouse. My father was a policeman and we lived in police units. The units were destroyed in cyclone Tracey. I have never been back i think things would have change alot since then.
My favourate memories were Rose Bay the Strand and the Strand swimming pool. I as coached in swimming by Laurie Lawrence.
Anyway now i think life is to short to be doing nothing. I found golf to frustrating.
