  Thanks for your welcome Dennis. I used to live in Rapid City and my brother still does. He's a teacher out there. I have done no prospecting or gold panning, it's just a curiosity I have. Actually loaned said brother in Rapid a metal detector I had...found I didn't use it. Am going to Arizona in late May and have toyed with the idea of spending a few hours hunting gold! *laugh

  how did your prospecting trip work out did you fine that big pot of gold so that you can retiree for a lifetime or are you like me fine just a little bet and you have to go back.

  how was your trip to the hills. I hope you had found a pan fool of gold but save some for me to find. next month I have a panning class with the cub scouts 18 boys from 6 to 9 years old. sounds like fun. LOL
