    Thank you everyone for the welcomes! Very new to this. My son (who is 7) actually is the one who started this with his cub scout group and he fell in love. We haven't done much panning but hope to soon. My dad is heading to bike week in South Dakota and heard close to where he is staying is gold. He said a river runs right behind where he stays. (Close to mt Rushmore) does Anyone have advice I could give to my dad on what to look for or best spots to bring dirt back?
