Ok background first. Im disabled. Though im still productive at the 9-5 grind and push paper just fine. (Neuropathy in both hands and both feet that cause dangerous painful cramping and full loss of control of limbs at times, so driving is best limited) But I cant drive long distances anymore without stopping every 30-45 min. I am in Bellevue so driving to Liberty or up by the Canadian border isnt such a good idea.
Im looking at joining an org or two. But as you know, no one lists their claim locations for new members which is pretty lame. I know I could do Sultan or Gold Bar etc. east to snoq pass, etc.
Because of my physical limits with driving I have been sticking close at the raging, north and middle snoq forks and in the local creeks but we all know what they yield if your not dredging.
The ones im looking at:
1. http://www.washingtonprospectors.org/
2. GPAA
3. ProspectorsPlus
Which of these in your experience would be best, considering I cant travel far. (I can dig and work the gravel just fine at my own pace) Also who has the high yield claims closest to me?
TIA

Prospectors Plus out of Gold Bar is a good club and so is WMPA, You also have Bedrock Prospectors in Puyallup.
And as I am sure you already know there are a few GPAA Chapters in the State.
Good luck and may you always have a Flash In Your Pan..
Any luck? Im New to Wa and looking for the same and have some physical issues of my own but get around and work just the same even tho I had 3 back operations little over a year ago. Still looking for a good group tho!
Where you located Dave?
Lol you got that right. More interested in distance by road. people could tell you but it never does any good. Had people right next to me get much bigger pans, and some days its the opposite. it just comes when it does and you just keep working at it.
TIA:
I belong to Prospectors Plus. I think you should contact Dave Doolittle at Claimsdirector@prospectorsplus.com
and talk to him about claims that have easy access. Also think you should have someone go with you. Don't go alone. You could go to Liberty when you can ride with someone. Its the best access place I've been to..
Oh no, I'm not that bad off at this time. I can open a waist deep hole in compacted boulders and close it the same day. Can climb and walk on the rocks and get around fine. But sitting in one spot driving tends to cause the problems. I go to the raging and middle fork alone just fine. In fact i have a dozen weekends in the rain and snow on the raging, including last weekend. I have a 4x4 and no problem getting into the brush. Its older so scratches are not a big deal lol.
Its really just me i guess. I dont want to travel too far...If other people are put at risk.
You seem to be happy with that group. I could be too, im sure.
