  • Hello from Southern Nevada. I’m a member of the GPAA & GSSN clubs. Very new to prospecting, only been out 4 times. By trade I’m an Electrical Engineer and specialize in navigation systems. If there’s anyone in Southern Nevada that would like join me or visa versa, I’m free on the weekends and generally go around the Nelson & Searchlight areas or that’s all I’ve gotten to so far. Have yet to find a lick of gold but apparently I’m an expert lead prospector...
  • Just a reminder the Fiscal Year starts July 1 for the First Class Miners :)
  • The area I prospect most is from the Rademacher hills south of Ridgecrest to Red Mountain and Garlok area. I belong to a GPAA and PCSC. The best gold Im finding right now is either Red Chispa or near Duisenburg. Any one know any good spots in these areas?

  • Mohave Prospectors in Kingman is a good club.  Their claims up near the Gold Basin do have gold in them.

We have not been up there this year but our friends from Kingman found some small nuggetts out there this winter.  We hope to be up to the basin within the next month.  Then it's time to head back to Michigan for our summer gold hunting.

    • Thanks for the kingman tip, good luck hunting find a big nugget to put a smile on! :)
