  • Royal manufacturing river sluice. A52 2.5" dredge combo with goldhog matting for my power equipment.

  • Sorry you have to work Saturday, I was hoping to get to meet you. I haven't used this myself, I use a highbanker with Gold Hog mats in it. I'm going to sell the trommel I built, it's just too heavy for this old man to load, and unload, and pull around. Right now I have a Keene A-52 sluice under it, but I don't want to let it go with the trommel. I do have a Cal Sluice bucket sluice that I use to run my cons in, and like it real well. The Keene A-52 is a good box, but the way it's set up with the carpet, it doesn't catch the Indiana gold as well as if it had something like v mats, or the Hog mats. Any sluice you buy (with a few exceptions) you'll have to classify the material down, and basicly I'm a lazy person so thats why I use the highbanker, it classifies to - 1/2 inch. Good luck in your search.2960230189?profile=original

    • nice trommel, how much an where at? I have a large highbanker on bike wheels , maybe a trade? Is this thing driven by gas or electric? Does it breakdown for transport in a small car?

    • It's gas powered, still have some issues that need to be worked out before I would want to sell it.  Might even want to put a tow bar on it. I used it over at Greensburg, Friday, caught maybe 40 specks of color. 2960234646?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

    • Thats a nice looking trommel. It would be a great machine for somebody that has easy access to their spot.

  • I do love the bucket sluice concentrator form calsluice, it features the same abs drop riffle design as the one below. I admit though that i have never used any of the larger ones. I looks like it could use a flare and a handle but you could add that.

One great thing about this type of sluice if the clean up time is super quick so if your sampling from a few different spots you can do separate clean outs easily.

I have aKeene A52 highbanker, 10x48 with gas motor. We put aftermarket miners moss and rubber mat in it to replace the original green carpet and screen. We run about the same setup on the dredge.

I am currently saving my pennies for a JR. highbanker from calsluece. I want something small that i can carry by myself in one trip. Take a look at it. Are you a DYI guy.
