  • Only if they would let us Gold Life Members have a Life Claims Permit where we wouldn't have to wait for new ones.

  • Thanks for your response Scott!!!  The way the world is these days, with nothing a sure thing anymore,  living costs and taxes sky high, and folks greedier than ever,  I'm not one to take it for granted that the GPAA Gold Life Membership benefits remain the same.  I'm very glad to know that we can at least count on our GPAA Life Membership benefits to be something we CAN count on!!!   Thanks again Scott and may the glitter of gold brighten your pan often!!!

  • No, you dont have to pay for the claims guide book! they are free for as long as your life membership is.

  • I recently received an email notice from the GPAA that the NEW 2012 GPAA Mining Guides have arrived at GPAA HQ in California, and are now ready to be sent out to members.  Anyone know if we Gold Life Members are going to have to pay to get the new guide, or if our life membership covers it?  Would also be great to know WHEN the guides are going to be sent out to us life members?

  • Hey all I'm a Gold Life member since 2011

  • HELLO fellow Gold Life and Lifetime GPAA Mambers!!!  Are there ANY active group members on this site?  If so, I'd like to ask if any of you all have had the same experience as I have every year, when it comes to receiving mining permits, mining guides, and updated membership cards 3 0r more months LATE every year, limiting us to WAY LESS than a full year of legal mining on GPAA claims?

  • Hello Everyone!!!  I've been a Gold Life GPAA Member since 2001, and glad to be a part of this group.  I would like to start out by asking a question, that no one has answered on any of the other groups that I've presented it to.  Don't know WHY no one would give me the answer - possibly because it's felt that EVERY prospector should already KNOW the answer, and I DON'T.  My question is,  what does -100 mesh flour gold look like in quantity,  when wet or dried?  Is it white, yellowish white when dry, or an off white color,  and is it a yellowish orange color when wet?  This stuff I'm asking about is more of a micro gold, since I can SEE it under a microscope, or at least it LOOKS like gold, and quite a bit of it.  Can't find much of any gold I can see anymore,  on the claims I prospect, so I'm going for the stuff you can't see, since the majority of gold left out there are fines.  Any help is appreciated!!!
