Microwave Kiln and Nugget Coils Inquiry

Hello everyone!!!  I would like to know if anyone in the group has and uses what is called a "Microwave Oven Kiln", and if so I'd like to hear how has worked out, and if they're worth the money, since they're not cheap.  I would also like to know if anyone here has a Whites MXT,  and uses either one of the Kellyco SEF Excelerator Butterfly Coils for nugget hunting, and about how well they do out here.  Also, if anyone uses the Whites Ultimate Coil with their MXT, I'd like to hear how well it's worked out as well.  I'd like to SEE quite a bit deeper with my MXT, and a better coil is the only answer that I can think of.  Your help is MUCH appreciated!!!

  • Thank you Bobbi,  for sharing your friends experience with me about the Microwave Gold Kiln.  The way it is with my prospecting,  it takes about 2 to 3 years to collect enough gold to be considered "substantial" here in Arizona, so I don't see how it would be cost effective for me to buy one at THIS point and time.  Possibly cheaper for me to find someone to pay to smelt it for me.  It's been eating me to find out how much gold I have in the many pounds of black sand I have.  Thanks again Bobbi and have a GREAT weekend!!!

  • I have a friend who got the Microwave Gold Kiln. Apparently, you had better have a significant amount of gold to melt down, because when he melted his down, it disappeared into thin air!!!
