Max, if the Henry flows into the south fork of the Catawba there will be color. When I first started out, with a pan and shovel, I found color in every creek flowing into the Catawba in several counties. However I wasn't finding anything panning in the south fork until I ran it through my camel. Most of the gold I have found in the south fork is very fine and I was initially washing it out of my pan but not anymore.
