  This one was metal detected in about 20' of water with near-zero visibility.  It was actually an arm's length into a coral crevice.  I didn't see it until I was able to extract it after about 10-15 minutes of work.  The whole account will be detailed in my book... That coin in particular is VERY SIGNIFICANT.  I use an Aqua Pulse detector made in the UK for this type of work.

  This is what a 1698 Spanish Two Escudo ("Doubloon") looks like fresh from the bottom of the ocean after 295 years!
