  • Adam, that all depends on how much of a hurry I am in. I usually can get 3 or 4 buckets of 1/8 in a couple hours. I also classify to 1/2 then go sit in my chair when I have a few buckets. Then I just sit there and run everything through the 1/8. Being careful to watch for chunks that might get caught up in the screen. Hasnt happened yet but one of these days it will. I find I can usually fill a 5 gallon bucket of 1/8 from about 1 3/4  5gallon buckets of 1/2. So if I have 4 buckets of 1/2 I can get a little more then 2 buckets of 1/8. Some days I can do it fast and some days I spend to much time looking around and day dreaming about the good ol days LOL

  • The topper would be great. But not at the 275.00 price.
  • If you get the topper unit, you can shovel directly into the cube, just like a highbanker. The only note I would offer is---- if you have small gold, 1/8" and smaller like out east, your good. If you in a spot where nuggets are in the gangue, then you need to get them first with a different method. Dickb

  • Adam;

    1. I crush the rocks small enough to get  1/8"

    Or.

    2. In the field I  use the Gold Fever Buckets and screen my material wet to 1/2" then bring it in to my processing area and screen again to 1/8"

    So to answer your question how long does it take?  Pretty quick when using the Gold Fever Buckets wet.

  • How long does it take you to classify 1 five gl bucket at 1/8 for the cube. It seems to take me a long time.
  • Aw I LOVE my Gold Cube!!!
