1" high riffles are little tall for a stream sluice, unless the flow is quite quick. Mine are 3/4" profile with 1/2" lip and it takes a lot of water to get things moving.
My riffle are made the same way. I made my 1" high with a 1/2" bend. I have nottryed them yet there still snow there and cold weather it just went south in 5 day we got 6" of snow and 40 mph wind so prospectig is out for now.
