I like your rocks there Bob, I do the samething I like the diffent one that dont look like the others. Right it may not be gold but its something that nowone has and thats the was I see it.
I thought this might be from an old coal furnace or something. Just not sure what I was looking at. When I stop for a smoke break I like walking around looking for cool rocks. I found tons of quartz rocks and started breaking them open hoping to see a yellow sparkle but it never happened. I did find some that had cool color patterns in them like these two.
and this one was blood red when i broke it open....kinda neat

How do you tell the difference between slag and volcanic rock?
