My buddy and I discussed the possibility of using Sierra Blasters for working in the area, but ruled that out for the time being as gravity, a 4 ton come-along and some muscle will take care of most anything we've run into!
The desert season is almost over and she's been a stingy lady this year! Even more so than usual.
After 8 trips to the wash we've been working, our poke tallies 90 grains (70 in the photo). We found a dwt in front of the rock, so moved it to work underneath! Only found a couple flakes! Go figure! Yep! GOLD IS WHERE YOU FIND IT! lol

By the way Thompson's Drywashers are handsomely made, and they work quite well even with small fine gold.
