Sometimes you'll see a red gleam in your black sand and if you look closer you'll see that there are garnets in the black sand. These garnets are magnetic and can be pulled out of your concentrate with a magnet.
Don't you just wish you could make money on these. They are magnified X100.
You can find bigger pieces
Garnets come in all colors but around here red is dominate. Out of all the sand I've looked through I only found one that was green.
