I found a couple on the GPAA claim in Meadview AZ. But these had the iron wrapped around a pale green something (copper oxide, manganese? i dunno). Red Cloud is a claim I've placed on the 'someday I'll go there' list. I'd be interested in what your thoughts are of this claim.
Good place for finding those is Little Tujunga Cyn. turn onto Gold Creek Road follow it down to where you see the creek Crazy Gold in there every pan has 100 colors at worse and like a pound of Black Sand.. Special processing required there cause of the Massive amount of black sand.. There's also large Iron Garnets the size of large dice!! They have all the sides on them like Quartz Crystals but dull Red

Iron is almost as Heavy as Gold, and Oxide Ore can contain Gold it's just a Pain to get it out

We find them here in ND, biy we leave them where we find them.
