i originally built this for sampling. it was the first thing i built. when ever i went out digging i would take some samples in baggies home with me and run it through this if i found gold i would see how much was in the sample and decide if it was worth the time to work the spot. now i just use it for rerunning the blue bowl left overs you would be surprised how much fine gold goes over the cone in the blue bowl. after i run the sand i clean the mats and classify then run again through the blue bowl
