Mary Ellen's gulch galena-2014 autumn.

When I first saw this piece in my pan my heart skipped a beat. Found it out later to be galena. Mostly lead, some silver, minimal possibility of gold. It comes from a difficult location to get to. I found this galena 200 yards or so below the tailings pile of the old mines on bedrock. It came with a lot of other smaller pieces on the left.
