    Something I learned is to never try to melt some gold inside the graphite mold. Neither put ant borax in there neither. Otherwise, borax will create a thick glassy layer. Being hard to remove afterward...

    There is about 0.98% impurity loss from melting fine gold. I had to redo this one twice to be a bit over 1 Oz
