Actually it is aqua regia boiled using oxalic acid to precipitate gold. Looks like some of the material plated my beaker cover. I'm not done yet but it looks like everything is getting better.

I'm confused on what it could be.Looks like acid washed concrete patio surface to me- anyone have a clue?
