Yes, everything in that pan was from the day use area. over 4 1/2 oz. over a two week period. Lots of exposed crevices that year. The gold gods smiled upon me that trip.
Oh dang that's really good.did you find those big chunky pieces there too? .I know its been really worked now cause of the drought so its hard to find a good spot...hopefully this year we will get some good rain.
No, the suit I wear is just a black shorty top with regular pants. I always do good there. Two years ago I was having 1/4 oz. days from the day use area.
Cool we were in 7..kinda sucked though cause our tent was stolen by the transients but we got it back thank god that was the 2nd time our stuff was taken....we were working at the end of the campsites. Were u in the guy in the blue and black wetsuit? How did u do? We are going back there the first week of August for 9 days.
Campsite ten until Saturday and then eleven for the next day. Did OK right off the campsite. The area really needs some heavy churning up of the overburden. Come on storms!!!
