I've hiked up into the canyon, past the campground, a few times, just over a mile. Always found color!
That's my favorite place to be on the SG. But, many of the people that I've been up there with lately, set up below the bridge, so I haven't been up in the canyon in over a year.
Yes, I was up there in '08 & '09! Probably walked right past you! lol
east fork is a great place anytime of year due to good ole calif. weather. i really do miss that place. what area do you work most of the time? how about any hiking or camping while up there? if you were going there in 2006-2009 chances are we've passed ways on the river. do you know any other guys that go up there? sorry for all the questions, i guess im homesick. lol. yes please take lots of pictures. cant wait.

Goin' up with a group from Temecula on Wed. the 29th. Mid-week and it shouldn't be too crowded up there.
I hear the water is down and warm. So, it should be great! I'll try and get some pics to post!
