Anytime you have cleaned the bedrock off and you see cracks and splits in it with small pebbles this is usually a good thing.. Sometimes bushes and tree roots have intruded and started opening up joints and seams.. Those will Really hold the gold!! Break those apart and scrape out all the loose mat. and rinse those pieces off in a bucket
