  • Hi Cecil..Yes a baker's dozen is right..One day we got 3dwt. of flour gold and pin head size flakes.I have 70" of Keene Mfg.concentrator mat in the sluice. It costs $8:00/inch,but worth every penny. They use it in the Nome beach boxes and thier clean up concentrator.Great stuff. We work the black sand deposits where the ocean drives the heavies up to the cliffs during storms. We use dowsing rods to follow the concentration zones..My placer claims are inland and it's hot and dry now.The beach is a refreshing change. This beach is on the south central Calif.coast between San Francisco and Los Angeles..Beach Bum John
