What they do here is every spring they have this type of dredger that turns up the material from the bottom of the retaining ponds that are on the property and piles it up on the banks. Chuck the caretaker is a great guy and will do whatever he can to help you, we spent 2 weeks there last July but there is not much for gold other than fly poop. We had a huge hail storm while there and took break to the local casino to hide out since we were in a tent.

Thats because its the LDMA/GPAA June outing in Athens Michigan, about 200 people and 4 days of pooring rain. This the last day beautiful day yea!
