  • Glad you like it Bob... I wasn't kidding about how small it is. Looks like it shrunk some more in your photo... LOL . No worries it will clean up your cons just fine. 1st riffle will be where most of the color is. The rest are just insurance on loss. Make sure you run your cons into a small container so the pump doesn't start sucking up dirt. If you re-run them you should find no gold in them. If you do watch it closer, cleanup more often, watch your flow, check for the material dancing in the riffles.Drop riffle sluices are generally pretty forgiving on how you set them up. If you see alot of black sands and heavies in your lower two riffles it's time for a cleanup. Sideways in a clean pan, splash some water in the sluice, done.
