  That's a proline sluice so it doesn't have a lip... I took an old sign and made a lip to slide my mats under to hold them in place!

  I think you looking at it wrong Anthony...
  That's a lip I put in to hold my gold hog matting!

  i had that angle iron lip in mine , for over 4 yrs. nothing new, but it should be high, about 2" taller. the reason for it is i have a sluice box on top , with metal grading for larger rocks roll off, note my grading is made from an old bbq, grill.
