  • It moves with water. I spoke with Dennis and we came to the conclusion that it's most likely pyrite. I did run some other dirt with my trinity pan and got a few flakes that didn't move.

  • It doesn't look like gold, try to break it, rub it on the bottom of your pan and see if it leaves a streak.  Good luck.

  • Guys i need your help. This stuff came in a Glacier bag I ordered from Treasure Post. I'm just not sure if it's actually gold flake in a large piece or if it's like a part of a shell. It seems to be kind of flakey like the inside of a clam or oyster shell. Anyone have any ideas? Btw, it didn't settle to the bottom of my pan.
