It moves with water. I spoke with Dennis and we came to the conclusion that it's most likely pyrite. I did run some other dirt with my trinity pan and got a few flakes that didn't move.
Guys i need your help. This stuff came in a Glacier bag I ordered from Treasure Post. I'm just not sure if it's actually gold flake in a large piece or if it's like a part of a shell. It seems to be kind of flakey like the inside of a clam or oyster shell. Anyone have any ideas? Btw, it didn't settle to the bottom of my pan.

its Mica
does water move it or does it stay steal?
It doesn't look like gold, try to break it, rub it on the bottom of your pan and see if it leaves a streak. Good luck.
